A single yarn is a yarn twisted with only one fiber bundle. Pure textile fabrics can be formed from one type of raw material to form a pure textile fabric, or blended yarns can be composed of two or more types of raw materials to form a blended fabric.
Strand
A strand is a yarn made by twisting two or more single yarns. Its strength and abrasion resistance are better than single yarn. At the same time, the strands can be plied and twisted in a certain way to obtain multi-twisted strands, such as double stranded, triple stranded, and multi-stranded strands. It is mainly used for sewing thread, braided thread or medium thick and strong fabric.
Monofilament monofilament is composed of a single fiber filament. Its diameter depends on the thickness of the fiber filament. Generally only used for processing thin fabrics or knitted fabrics, such as nylon socks and veil.
Textured yarn
Textured yarn is obtained by deforming synthetic fiber filaments and changing it from straightening to crimping. It is also called textured yarn or processed yarn. Textured yarns include high-elastic yarn, low-elastic yarn, bulky yarn and network yarn.
